About
I love exploring the nature of many artistic mediums and tools to express my visions. From weaving macrame and hanging it on Ohio River driftwood to cyanotype sun photography, ideas and imagination open windows to inspiration. Often, my art expresses my dreams, the beauty of this world -small, scary and furry - and the cosmic wonders. As a Louisville native, born in New Albany and resident of the Pacific Northwest for four years, my art is also a perspective of these landscapes, people and cultures.
After teaching public school for eight years, teaching painting classes to teachers and crafts to children, I bring opportunities for the community to learn art and craft skills in public spaces throughout New Albany and Louisville. “Ahluminy” is that Ahhh moment! It’s inner illumination as it wheels about in imaginative thought and inspiration.
